The Casolare del Lauro is an excellent base from which to explore all the attractions nearby. Beautyful art cities (such as Lucca, Pisa and Florence), Versilia beaches, historical villas of Lucchesia (Villa Mansi, Villa Torrigiani, the former Villa Reale, now Pecci-Blunt) and Garfagnana mountains are all close by .

An olfactive weekend discovering fragrances. Because after a travel, even if a quick one, we use to carry home memories and sents...

The package "Scents of Tuscany" includes two nights at Casolare del lauro, Il libro del profumo of Mariangela Rossi (Tea publisher), a fragrant present at the arrival, a perfume tasting (from the fragrance dedicated to Elisa Bonaparte, Princess of Lucca, to the one of composer Giacomo Puccini), but also of herbal teas at l’Angolo di Santa Maria Novella in Lucca, and finally a typical dinner with excellent smells of Tuscan gastronomy (350 euros for two. Valid until May 31st 2007).
